Cherry clafoutis recipe

Light, delicate, and quick to make, this cherry clafoutis not only looks pretty, but it tastes amazing!

Ingredients

  • 300 grams cherries
  • 3 eggs
  • 120 grams sugar 1/2 cup
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 60 grams all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 230 ml whole milk 1 cup
  • 12 grams shaved almonds 2 tablespoons
  • 3/4 teaspoon almond extract optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F (180C).
  • In a blender or bowl, combine all the ingredients, except the cherries and shaved almond.
  • Butter an 8-inch baking dish and add the cherries.
  • Pure the batter carefully over the cherries. Sprinkle the shaved almonds over the top.
  • Bake for about 50-60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. It should be slightly wobbly and soft.
  • Let it cool before slicing.
